Apple Cider Vinegar - also known as AVC - just may be something that can be benefit to you!

Let me count the ways this little liquid may be of interest to you…..

Have you tried apple cider vinegar?  If not, I hope you find this interesting enough to give it a try.  If you do already consume it, I hope maybe you find a few more ways/reasons to enjoy it!

So…. What is it?

Apple cider vinegar is a fermented liquid made from apples.  Fermentation means a process by where sugars are broken down by bacteria and yeast into a vinegar based probiotic, flavourful and health boosting pantry staple!

Regular white distilled vinegar is great for cleaning and household uses.  But apple cider vinegar is a whole different type of vinegar.

The main ingredient of apple cider vinegar, or any vinegar, is acetic acid. However, also has other acids, vitamins, mineral salts, and amino acids to add to your daily nutrient intake.

It is helpful to note that apple sider vinegar has amazing properties for consuming and enjoying in your favourite recipes.

Some ways that apple cider vinegar has been shown to shine, in regards to health, is in the areas of heart burn, lower cholesterol, lower blood sugar, as well as leg cramp relief and weight loss, plus many other areas that folks have found improvements when added to their routine.

It is a simple item to add to your morning.  Starting with 1 tsp of ACV mixed in a glass of water.  Start there.  Work up to 4 tsp, before your first meal of the day.  This has been found to help stimulate digestive juices and lessen indigestion and heart burn.

A number of clients found when trying to reduce soda consumption, having an apple cider vinegar water drink when the craving hits can help to lessen that craving and get them through that challenge.

So, it is great for recipes such as salad dressings, marinades, sauces,

For non-food ideas, it is great for a hair rinse after shampooing (as in softest hair I’ve ever had), as well as a general cleaner, deodorizer, facial toner, fruit fly trap, veggie wash to get wax and other chemicals off, mouth wash, and can be used to clean your toothbrush as well as other anti-bacterial needs.

With all of these items above, you can google info on apple cider vinegar and see what resonates with you and how to use it for those uses.  I find many people have not heard of it, or understood the benefits, so they do not think to try it.

It really is something that may surprise you in how much you may enjoy it, but regardless, if it can give you benefits to many different areas that you may be looking for solutions, then why not give it a try?  It is a natural solution and many have already found benefits, and you can too!

I hope by giving you some “food for thought” on ACV may be of benefit if you find may be it is worth trying.

Have a great week!

Lisa.
