Re: COVID-19 Pandemic

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) is having significant global impacts and specifically the Produce Industry. The unprecedented increase in demand from consumers for produce as they try to prepare for the unknown repercussions of this virus is naturally having spillover effects on supply chains.

At Quality Green Farm Market, we recognize this increased demand, and we are working with our supplier and grower communities to maintain the flow of product into our stores.

We are following all federal, provincial and regional advisories and adopting new procedures as needed to keep our stores safe environments and are currently taking the following precautionary measures:

 

• Increasing Routine Cleaning: we have increased the frequency of cleaning, paying close attention to high touch areas.
• Team Member Support: our Team Members have been asked to exercise precautions to safeguard their health and the health of their community.
• Reinforcing Good Hygiene Practices: with guidance from the health authorities we are emphasizing hygiene practices which we know are a front-line defense from any illness.

At Quality Greens Farm Market, we are committed to doing out best to ensure that we have appropriate processes in place to ensure business continuity. We will continue to monitor all public health advisories and when appropriate will update you on how we are adapting our safety practices.
