These little treats pack a naturally sweet and satisfying punch!
Ingredients
12 medjool dates
6 tsp of nut butter – or just use nuts or seeds
3-4 oz of dark chocolate
Unrefined salt
Optional Topping - unsweetened coconut
Directions
If medjool dates are hard, soak them in hot water for 10-15 minutes to soften.
Cut medjool dates in half lengthwise to remove pit, do not cut all the way through to the bottom. Set dates on parchment paper on a plate - easy to move/cleanup.
Stuff with ½ tsp nut butter (or nuts/pumkin seeds, etc) and pinch closed.
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Using a spoon, drizzle melted dark chocolate on dates, sprinkle with sea salt, and place in refrigerator or freezer for about 15-20 minutes to set
