Donna Denison first produced Little Creek Dressing on the Little Creek Gardens property in 1995.
The property has been in the Denison family since 1947 and is situated on the west shores of Okanagan Lake in Beautiful BC. Donna, her husband Dale and son, Jubi, moved to the property in 1984, cleared the land and began farming vegetables and salad greens. Donna was inspired to create salad dressing in 1995 to compliment the organic greens Dale was growing and by the government’s support for value-added products. Donna first bottled the famous Original Vinaigrette in 1995 using raspberries, basil and garlic that grew on the farm. July 2014 marked Donna’s move of Little Creek Dressing’s production and warehousing facility to the new Little Creek facility in Kelowna. Donna’s son, Jubi, has also come on board as Executive Director to continue the family legacy and help take Little Creek into the next chapter of it’s growth and success.
Although no longer on the farm, the production batches remain artisan and small. The dressings are vegan, made with Organic, Non-GMO ingredients, and the business practices remain true to Donna’s vision of producing wholesome flavourful foods that encourage healthy eating, healthy living, and a healthy planet!
